The Role:
We are looking for TWO creative and passionate Digital Marketing Specialists to join our collaborative remote marketing team. Working within North American time zones, we prioritize live video meetings and teamwork to achieve the best results. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the company's DTP (Direct to Pro) digital marketing campaigns. In this role, you will lead and support promotional plans, track campaign performance, and drive brand recognition, customer growth, and industry awareness. Deep experience in email marketing, social media marketing, website management, and reporting is essential, along with experience in digital marketing strategies tailored to professional photographers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Support the Marketing Director in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy that contributes to yearly revenue targets and overall growth of Bay Photo and Pro Prints.
● Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, SMS, content marketing, social media, and digital advertising.
● Enhance Bay Photo’s online presence and grow our professional photographer customer base to achieve brand and business objectives.
● Collaborate with the marketing team, external copywriters, and designers to create engaging content and maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels.
● Write compelling and targeted copy for marketing materials, including emails, ads, blog posts, and website content, to highlight Bay Photo’s products and services.
● Create and design on-brand content and marketing materials that engage professional photographers and add value to their businesses.
● Set up and manage drip campaigns and triggered email sequences to deliver targeted content based on customer behavior, ensuring personalized and timely communication to nurture leads and drive engagement.
● Build and maintain relationships with professional photographers, industry partners, and influencers.
● Analyze customer needs, preferences, and market trends, as well as monitor competitor insights, to position Bay Photo as a leader in the professional photography industry.
● Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
● Support the Marketing Team with various administrative projects including fulfillment and tracking of partner campaigns, giveaways, sample products and special offers
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
● 3+ years of proven experience in Digital Marketing within a multi-channel or online B2B environment, preferably in the professional photography industry.
● Experience in various marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, SEO, and PPC advertising, to drive online visibility and customer engagement.
● Deep understanding of professional photographers as a target audience, including industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing objectives.
● Strong ability to create and distribute compelling content that resonates with photographers and reaches audiences effectively.
● Demonstrated experience with market research methods and marketing analytics tools, including A/B testing and customer feedback, with a strong emphasis on performance measurement and optimization.

● Experience marketing to a B2B audience, particularly creative professionals.

Salary Range: $55,800-$61,900 plus performance bonus incentive
Location : Fully Remote in North America/US or Canada (Ontario or British Columbia)
