Invoicing Technician - Internal

Summary of Position

The Invoicing Technician is responsible for invoicing orders prior to shipping. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Review orders in detail and invoice them, charging the customer’s credit card or their Net 30 account.
  • Use a variety of software programs to correct any order information as necessary, including product codes and values, promo codes, shipping methods, and other details.
  • Batch invoice groups of invoices that do not require individual attention.
  • Work in the USPS line invoicing orders and labeling shipments.
  • Follow all safety procedures including wearing personal protective equipment
 

Other Duties

  • Assist in Multiples by combining orders going to the same address.
  • Assist in Invoicing Holds by calling customers to resolve issues with their orders.
  • Assist in Shrink Wrap by preparing orders for boxing.
  • Assist in Shipping by boxing, labeling, assembly line and building boxes.
  • Respond to changes in workflow, work volume, and production as needed, including working in other departments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area that is ready for the next shift

Physical Requirements

      Stand/walk for most of an eight-hour shift

      Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds.

      Perform repetitive motions throughout the day

      Frequent twisting, reaching above head, bending, squatting motions

      Ability to work in an environment with changing temperatures, odors, and loud noises

 

Availability

  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work overtime, including some weekends, depending on production needs of the department when required
Compensation
  • $18.00 - $20.00
