In this crucial role, you'll oversee day-to-day operations in designated production departments. You'll be responsible for ensuring our products are manufactured efficiently, meeting (and exceeding!) quality standards and on-time delivery. The Production Manager works directly with the Vice President of Operations to create the short and long term goals for departments, develop and maintain training programs and establish, document and maintain workflow systems and procedures.
Summary of Position 
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all day to day operations in designated production departments. They are responsible for the overall manufacturing of products and management of staff in said areas.

Vice President, Operations
Work Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Friday 
 
What you’ll do:  
  • Lead with Vision: Develop short and long-term goals for your departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset through Gemba walks and lean principles.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and safety throughout the production process.
  • Team Champion: Motivate and develop your team, providing regular performance feedback and training programs to empower the team to excel.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with engineering to ensure smooth new product introductions.
  • Communication is Key: Maintain open communication with staff, customers, cross-functional teams and leadership. Address any production delays or roadblocks proactively. Partner cross-functionally with HR and all internal teams.
  • Safety First: Prioritize a safe work environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
What you bring to the table:  
  • 4-6 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable solutions.
  • A passion for building strong teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and empathetic leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, LabWorks, DP2 and other common software programs.
  • Understanding of Lean principles, a plus.
  • The ability to operate machinery and/or power tools as needed.
  • The ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
Base Salary Range : $75,000-$90,000
