  • Partner with Operations leadership to align staffing, shift structures, and workforce plans with peak season volumes and customer demand.
  • Lead and resolve employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, corrective actions, and terminations, ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
  • Coach supervisors and managers on performance management, goal setting, feedback, documentation, and development of production team members.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new-hire onboarding, orientation, safety training, and ongoing HR/compliance training for managers and employees.
  • Champion Sensaria’s culture by promoting engagement, recognition, inclusion, and open communication, with a strong focus on production and warehouse teams.

Additional Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hourly and salaried hiring, including interviewing, selection, and offers during both steady-state and peak seasons.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards to administer and communicate pay practices, shift differentials, incentives, and benefits programs, and support open enrollment and related campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data (Dayforce) for all facility employees, ensuring timely processing of job changes, pay changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, safety incidents, engagement indicators) to identify trends and recommend actions that support retention, productivity, and workplace safety.
  • Support process improvements, organizational changes, and policy updates with effective communication and change management for hourly and salaried populations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws (including ADA, FMLA, EEO, wage and hour, and California-specific regulations), escalating risks and partnering with Corporate HR as needed

 Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Generalist responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying California employment laws and regulations (e.g., wage and hour, meal and rest breaks, leaves of absence, pay transparency, FEHA, and local ordinances) in a multi-state environment.
  • SHRM (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) and/or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification preferred, reflecting advanced HR knowledge and professional competency

Specific Skills and Competencies
